XHTML is attempt to "retro-fit" HTML as an XML application. Of course HTML came before XML and so there are some differences between HTML and XHTML
The XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD (annotated plain text) is pretty substantial, however we need not understand all of it to produce a simple document.
At a minimum it insists that html has a head and a body.
  1. The head also needs an element - try and track down the missing piece, you will probably have to search the DTD.
  2. Try to get the text Hello World into the body.
  3. Find out the possible values for method attribute of the form element.
